We love the New York Times “Everyday Pancake” recipe grilled in buttery hemp hearts and warmed blueberry juices.

Blueberry Pancakes with Hemp Hearts



-2 cups all purpose flour  (We substituted one cup of flour with one cup of Hemp Heart Protein Powder)

-2 tsp baking powder

-¼ tsp salt 

- 1 Tbsp sugar (optional)

-2 eggs or vegan binder substitute 

-1 ½ to 2 cups milk or oat milk

-2 Tbsp melted and cooled butter

-1 cup warmed blueberries

-4-5 Tbsp hemp hearts 



-Combine dry ingredients

-Beat eggs into the milk, then stir in the butter

-Gently stir dry and wet ingredients together

-Ladle batter into a buttered griddle

-Pour warmed blueberries into each pancake and sprinkle on hemp hearts prior to flipping 

-Flip pancakes after bubbles arise
